Objective To explore the clinical application value of continuous quality improvement model in general surgery nursing management.Methods From March 2021 to May 2023,forty nurses working in the General Surgery Department of Dingtao District People's Hospital of Heze City were selected for management study.They were divided into two groups by management methods.The traditional conventional management mode was adopted in the reference group(twenty participants).The continuous quality improvement model was adopted in the study group(twenty partici-pants).The nursing adverse events of the two groups were statistically analyzed,and the nursing quality score and nursing management effect score of the two groups were compared.Results In the reference group,there were 3 cases of nursing dispute complaint and 2 cases of nursing standard error,a total of 5 cases.The study group had no nursing adverse events.The nursing quality scores of general surgery nurses in the study group were significantly higher com-pared with those in the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The nursing manage-ment effect score of general surgery nurses in the study group was significantly higher compared with that in the refer-ence group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The rational application of the con-tinuous quality improvement model during nursing management can significantly improve the management effective-ness of nursing staff and the quality of care,and reduce the occurrence of adverse events.
