Analysis of the Effect of PDCA Cycle Model in the Management of Chronic Disease Management
Objective To analyze the effect of PDCA cycle model in the management of nursing staff in chronic dis-ease management.Methods A total of 40 nursing staff responsible for chronic disease management in Yunfu People's Hospital from May 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the research objects.They were grouped according to the spe-cific nursing management mode.From May 2022 to April 2023,routine management was implemented as the routine group.From May 2023 to March 2024,PDCA cycle mode was implemented as the study group.Both groups were the same group of nursing staff.The knowledge of chronic disease management,nursing quality and satisfaction with nurs-ing management mode were compared between the two groups.Results The knowledge of chronic disease management in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The nursing quality score of the study group was higher than that of the routine group,and the difference were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the study group was 97.50%(39/40)higher than 82.50%(33/40)of the routine group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.000,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of PDCA cycle management mode in the management of nursing staff in chronic disease management is more effective,which can enhance the mastery of professional knowledge of nursing staff,ensure the efficient and high-quality development of nursing work,and the management mode can meet the needs of nursing staff for manage-ment mode,which has high reference value.
