The Effect of PDCA Cycle Model on Hospital Sense and Nursing Quality in Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Management
Objective To analyze the effect of intervention PDCA cycle mode in TCM nursing management and its in-fluence on hospital sense and nursing quality.Methods From June 2021 to May 2023,twenty nurses from Zibo Hospi-tal of Shandong Yiyang Health Group were selected as the research objects.According to different implementation times of management methods,they were divided into control group(from June 2021 to May 2022)and observation group(from June 2022 to May 2023),with one hundred thirty six archived medical records in each group.The control group received routine management,and the observation group received PDCA cycle management.The work enthusi-asm,learning ability,nursing management quality and archived medical records of nursing staff were compared.Re-sults After being managed,the scores of work enthusiasm,learning ability and nursing management quality in the ob-servation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After being managed,the incidence of no use of TCM terminology,no specialty characteristics,no evaluation of TCM effect,no implementation of TCM nursing measures and no three-cause nursing in the observation group were 2.21%(3/136),3.68%(5/136),5.88%(8/136),2.21%(3/136),1.47%(2/136)and 2.94%(4/136),respectively,which were lower than 22.79%(31/136),16.91%(23/136),23.53%(32/136),24.26%(33/136),18.38%(25/136)and 13.97%(19/136)in the control group.The difference between the groups was statistically significant(χ2=26.353,35.212,56.093,41.862,47.558,33.838,all P<0.05).Conclusion Applying PDCA cycle management to traditional Chinese medicine nursing management can significantly improve the comprehensive ability of nurses,improve the quality of nursing.
