Objective To explore the value of"five students three"flipped teaching model applied to clinical basic laboratory science. Methods A total of forty clinical basic laboratory interns from the Laboratory Department of Ying-shan County People's Hospital from December 2022 to December 2023 were selected. They were divided into two groups using a random number table method. The observation group consists of twenty students who receive"five stu-dents and three items"flipped teaching mode, while the control group consists of twenty students who receive tradi-tional teaching. After the teaching is completed, compare the assessment scores, teaching satisfaction, and comprehen-sive abilities of the two groups. Results The scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction of the observation group 100%(20/20)was better than 80%(16/20)of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.444,P<0.05).The scores of comprehensive ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The"five-three"flipped teaching mode can greatly improve the comprehensive ability level of clinical laboratory students, and also obtain the satisfaction of stu-dents,so as to promote the improvement of teaching effect, which is worthy of research.
