The Application of MDT Combined with PBL Teaching in the Training of Neurology Residents and the Analysis of the Effect of Doctors'Clinical Thinking Ability
Objective To explore the effect of multidisciplinary team(MDT)combined with problem-based learning(PBL)in the training of neurology residents and its influence on the clinical thinking ability of doctors. Methods Forty-six neurology residents who participated in the training of neurology residents in the Affiliated Hospital of Wei-fang Medical College from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects and were divided into two groups according to order of beginning, with twenty-three each. The control group(form March to September 2022)ad-opted conventional teaching mode training, and the study group(form October 2022 to March 2023)adopted MDT combined with PBL teaching mode training. The comprehensive score,self-learning ability score, clinical thinking ability score and teaching satisfaction score were compared. Results The scores of comprehensive scores(theoretical knowledge, clinical practice ability),self-learning ability and clinical thinking ability of physicians in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction of the study group was 100.00%(23/23),which was significantly higher than 73.91%(17/23)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.792,P<0.05).Conclusion MDT combined with PBL teach-ing for neurology resident training can enrich the theoretical knowledge of physicians, enhance practical operation ability, improve self-learning ability and clinical thinking ability, and have high teaching satisfaction.
