Objective To explore the effectiveness of infection prevention and control strategies in hospitals.Methods Sixty medical staff of Pizhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected for the study from January 2021 to December 2023.Conventional management mode was carried out from January to December 2021 as the control group.Hospital infection prevention and control strategy was applied from January 2022 to December 2023 as the ob-servation group.Compared the quality of management,operation quality and the number of bacterial flora in the medi-cal institutions of the two groups.Results The management quality score and operation quality score of the observa-tion group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The number of medical institution flora in the observation group was better than that in the control group,and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Introducing hospital infection prevention and control strategies into the infection management department improves the quality of management and staff practices.
