Analysis of the Application Effect of Case Teaching Method in Obstetrics and Gynecology Teaching of Rural Doctors
Objective To analyze the effect of case teaching method in obstetrics and gynecology teaching of rural doc-tors.Methods A total of 800 rural doctors who received training in Baicheng Medical College from September 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into two classes according to different teaching modes,400 in each group.One class routinely carried out online theoretical teaching and was set as the conventional group.Another class implemented case teaching method on the basis of conventional online theoretical teaching and was set as the research group.The satisfaction of the two groups of rural doctors with the teaching mode,the assess-ment results(basic theory,case analysis,doctor-patient communication skills),and the teaching effect scores(learning attitude,learning ability,learning efficiency,learning interest,teamwork,innovation spirit)were compared between the two groups.Results The satisfaction evaluation of rural doctors in the research group was 98.75%(395/400),which was higher than 94.75%(379/400)in the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.510,P=0.011).The scores of rural doctors in the research group were higher than those in the conventional group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The teaching effect scores of the research group were higher than those of the conventional group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion In the teaching of obstetrics and gynecology of rural doctors,case teaching method can effectively improve the learning ability of rural doctors,enhance the mastery of professional knowledge and skills of rural doctors,improve the teaching effect,and meet the needs of rural doctors for teaching mode and content.
