Objective To explore the effectiveness of the mixed teaching mode of"problem-based learning(PBL)+case-based learning(CBL)+rain classroom"in the training of pediatric emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR).Methods From August 2018 to August 2023,47 students in the standardized training of residents(referred to as resident training)of Department of Pediatric in the First People's Hospital of Chenzhou City in calss of 2018,2019,2020,2021 and 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into two groups according to different teaching modes.Among them, the students in calss of 2018 and 2019 received the traditional teaching mode as the control group(n=23).The mixed teaching mode(PBL+CBL+rain classroom)of calss of 2020 to 2022 was the study group(n=24).The teaching scores(theoretical knowledge and skill operation scores)and teaching effect(improving learning interest, improving operation skills, enhancing theoretical knowledge understanding, strengthening team coop-eration consciousness)were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of theoretical knowledge and skill operation in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(both P<0.05).The scores of the study group in the improving learning interest, improving operation skills,en-hancing theoretical knowledge understanding, strengthening team cooperation consciousness of the residents were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion In the training of pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills, the use of PBL+CBL+rain classroom teaching mode is helpful to improve the quality of teaching, improve students'interest in learning and clinical operation ability,en-hance students'understanding of theoretical knowledge, and strengthen team cooperation consciousness.
