Evaluation of the Effect of Performance Appraisal in Nursing Manage-ment of Respiratory Medicine
Objective To explore the application effect of performance appraisal in nursing management of respiratory medicine.Methods From January 2022 to December 2023,20 respiratory medicine nurses working in Xishui Hospital Affiliated to Hubei University of Science and Technology were selected as the research objects.From January to De-cember 2023,the performance appraisal method was adopted as the assessment group.From January to December 2022,the regular management method was adopted as the normal group.The nursing staff's satisfaction with manage-ment and work quality scores(participation in management,work attitude,work initiative,operation skills,document writing)were compared between the two groups.Results The satisfaction of management in the assessment group was 95.00%(19/20),which was higher than 70.00%(14/20)in the normal group,and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(χ2=4.329,P<0.05).The scores of quality of work in the assessment group were higher than those in the nor-mal group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The performance appraisal effect of respiratory medicine nursing staff is better,which can improve the service quality of nursing staff and the satisfac-tion of management.
