Application of Information Traceability System Optimization in Supply Room Management and the Effect on Improving Management Quality
Objective To analyze the application of information traceability system optimization in supply room man-agement and its effect on improving management quality.Methods From June to November 2022,12 supply room staff and 2 143 medical devices included in the supply room management of Hekou District Traditional Chinese Medi-cine Hospital were selected as the control group to receive routine information traceability system management.From December 2022 to May 2023,12 supply room staff and 2 143 medical devices included in the management of the sup-ply room of our hospital were used as study group to accept the management of the information traceability system.The two groups comprise the same staff.The qualified rate of cleaning,packaging,sterilization process and of disinfec-tion and distribution,incidence of management problems,medical staff's satisfaction with medical device use and staff's satisfaction with management were compared between the two groups after medical device management.Re-sults The qualified rates of cleaning,packaging,sterilization process,disinfection and distribution in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The inci-dence of irregular registration information,packaging date error,packaging unknown,device missing and delivery er-ror in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The satisfaction of medical staff in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of management in study group was higher than that of the control group.Conclusion The application of information traceability system optimization in supply room management can im-prove the quality of management and the safety of medical device circulation.
