Application Value of Total Quality Management in Hospital Medical Qual-ity and Safety Management
Objective To explore the application value of total quality management in hospital medical quality and safety management.Methods Sixty medical staff in Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects.According to different management methods,they were divided into two groups,the conventional quality management mode(control group)was implemented from January to December 2022,and the total quality management mode(study group)was implemented from January to December 2023.The medical staff in the two groups were the same group.The medical quality,safety management level and sat-isfaction of the two groups were compared.Results The scores of medical safety management,medical training man-agement and medical supervision management in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The number of adverse events in the study group was lower than that in the control group.The total satisfaction of total quality management in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Actively strengthening the implementation of total quality management measures can improve the level of medical quality management,safety management and satisfaction of medical staff as a whole.
