Application of"6S"Management in Nursing Management of Pediatric Gastroenterology Ward
Objective To explore the application of"6S"management in nursing management of children's digestive medicine ward.Methods From January to December 2022,a total of 20 nurses in the Department of Pediatric Diges-tive Medicine of University Affiliated Hospital Binzhou Medical college were selected as observation objects.Accord-ing to different management methods,they were divided into observation group and control group,with 10 nurses in each group.The control group was treated with routine nursing management,and the observation group was treated with"6S"management.The nursing quality scores(ward management,basic nursing,nursing documents,nursing safety),occupational stress,occupational satisfaction,and incidence of adverse events(nursing omissions,record er-rors)were compared between the two groups.Results The nursing quality scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The occupational stress of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the occupational satisfaction was higher than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was 1 nursing omission in the ob-servation group;there were 3 nursing omissions and 2 record errors in the control group.Conclusion"6S"manage-ment can improve the quality of nursing and occupational satisfaction,reduce occupational stress and reduce the oc-currence of adverse events in the nursing management of children's digestive medicine ward.
