Application Value of Risk Assessment in Nosocomial Infection Manage-ment
Objective To study the effect of applying risk assessment in nosocomial infection management.Methods The observation subjects of this article were selected from January 2022 to February 2024,and 50 medical personnel were selected from the high-risk infection department of Sihong Zhongxin Hospital as the research subjects.They were grouped in chronological order,with the control group(from January 2022 to January 2023)and the observation group(from February 2023 to February 2024)all included in the same group of medical personnel.The control group was subjected to routine management mode,while the observation group was subjected to risk assessment management mode.The quality of hospital infection management and implementation of disinfection management were compared between the two groups.Results The scores of hand hygiene and disinfection and isolation in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of risk identification,assessment and control,infection management knowledge and quality in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of risk assessment in nosocomial infection management can improve the awareness of disinfection iso-lation and hand hygiene of medical staff and improve the quality of disinfection management.
