Objective To analyze the nursing management effect of whole-process quality control mode in disinfection supply room and its role in preventing the risk of nosocomial infection. Methods A total of 32 nurses working in the disinfection supply room of Sishui County People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into two groups according to different time periods, the routine nursing man-agement from January to December 2021 was the control group, and the whole process quality control management from January to December 2022 was the observation group. The two groups were the same group of nurses. The quality of work(recovery, cleaning, sterilization, packaging qualification and accurate distribution),hospital infection, job sat-isfaction(team cohesion, communication ability, work enthusiasm, responsibility),equipment and item defects(miss-ing equipment, loose packaging,no packaging date or validity period)were compared between the two groups. Results The qualified rate of recycling, cleaning, sterilization and packaging and the accuracy of delivery in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of nosocomial infection in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was sta-tistically significant(P<0.05).The job satisfaction of nurses in the observation group was higher than that of the con-trol group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of instrument and object defects in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Applying the whole-process quality control mode to the disinfection supply room can significantly im-prove the quality of nurses'nursing management, reduce the incidence of nosocomial infection and the incidence of equipment and articles defects, and is more recognized by medical staff in various departments.
