Analysis of the Application of Case Teaching Method in the Teaching of Acupuncture and Moxibustion of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Objective To explore the application effect of case teaching method in the teaching of acupuncture and moxibustion of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods A total of 76 students who practiced in the First Affiliated Hos-pital of Xinjiang Medical University from January to December 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different teaching methods,they were divided into the conventional group and the case group,with 38 students in each group.Conventional teaching method and case teaching method were adopted respectively.The assessment re-sults(theoretical knowledge,practical operation),comprehensive ability(analytical ability,collaboration ability,com-munication ability,learning ability),teaching quality(classroom atmosphere,teacher-student communication,class-mate interaction,teaching method)and teaching satisfaction of the two groups of students were compared.Results The assessment scores,comprehensive ability scores and teaching quality scores of the case group were higher than those of the conventional group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of teaching in the case group was 94.74%(36/38),which was higher than 78.95%(30/38)in the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.145,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of case teaching method in the teaching of traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture and moxibustion is helpful to improve students'perfor-mance,improve their comprehensive ability,and improve teaching quality and satisfaction.
