Application Effect of PBL Combined with LBL Teaching in Pediatric In-tern Teaching
Objective To observe the application effect of problem-based learning(PBL)combined with language-based learning(LBL)in the teaching of pediatric interns.Methods From August 2022 to March 2024,80 doctors who practiced in pediatrics of Xishui Hospital Affiliated to Hubei University of Science and Technology were selected as the research objects.They were divided into two groups according to different teaching methods.Forty doctors who practiced from August 2022 to May 2023 were used as the control group,and 40 doctors who practiced from June 2023 to March 2024 were used as the observation group.The control group implemented LBL teaching,and the obser-vation group implemented PBL teaching on the basis of LBL teaching.The teaching effect scores,test scores,and teaching method satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The scores of learning initiative,commu-nication ability,teamwork ability and problem-solving ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After teaching,the scores of basic knowl-edge,pediatric professional knowledge,clinical operation skills and document writing test in the two groups were higher than those before teaching,and those in the observation group were higher than the control group,and the dif-ferences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The knowledge expansion,independent thinking,active learning,at-mosphere stimulate,classroom participation,memory knowledge,and clinical fit teaching satisfaction rate of the obser-vation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of PBL combined with LBL in the teaching of pediatric interns can improve the teaching effect and examination results,and the satisfaction of teaching methods is high.
