Application of PBL+CBL in the Teaching of Resident Physicians in Oncol-ogy Department
Objective To explore the application value of problem-based learning(PBL)+case-based learning(CBL)in the teaching of resident physicians in oncology department.Methods From September 2022 to December 2023,40 resident physicians in the oncology department of Suzhou Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University were se-lected as the research objects.They were divided into two groups according to different teaching methods,20 in each group.The control group carried out the routine teaching mode,and the observation group carried out the PBL+CBL teaching mode.The comprehensive ability scores(teamwork ability,new things cognitive ability,autonomous learning ability,problem-solving ability,clinical thinking ability),assessment results(basic theoretical results,practical opera-tion results),teaching effect(practical teaching effect,interest stimulation effect,communication ability improvement effect,learning enthusiasm improvement effect)and teaching satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Re-sults The comprehensive ability scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of each examination in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The scores of each teaching effect in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were sta-tistically significant(all P<0.05).The clinical teaching satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of PBL+CBL teaching mode in the teaching of oncology resident physicians has a significant effect.It can create a good learning en-vironment for oncology resident physicians,improve their theoretical knowledge level and practical ability,improve the teaching effect,and achieve the expected teaching objectives.It has high application value.
