Application of Problem-based Learning Teaching Mode in Nephrology Teaching
Objective To explore the effect of problem-based learning(PBL)mode on teaching activities in clinical nephrology. Methods From January to December 2023,a total of 54 students in the Department of Nephrology of Dongtai People's Hospital were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to different teaching modes, with 27 students in each group. The control group was given routine teaching mode, and the observation group was given PBL teaching mode. The theoretical knowledge level, case analy-sis level, comprehensive ability score and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of theoretical knowledge and case analysis of the students in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Before teaching, there was no statistically sig-nificant difference in comprehensive ability scores between the two groups(all P>0.05).After teaching, the compre-hensive ability scores of the two groups were higher than those before teaching, and the observation group were higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total student satisfaction with teaching of the observation group was 100%(27/27),which was higher than 77.78%(21/27)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.686,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of PBL teaching mode in clinical nephrology teaching activities can improve the assessment results and comprehensive ability of students, and the teaching satisfaction was high.
