Study on the Influence of Performance Appraisal on the Psychological State and Nursing Quality of Nurses in Gastroenterology Department
Objective To analyze the effects of applying performance appraisal in the management of gastroenterology nurses on nurses'psychological state and quality of care.Methods Thirty gastroenterology nurses in Huangshi Central Hospital were selected as study subjects from January 2022 to January 2024,and were divided into two groups of fif-teen each according to the management method.The control group implemented routine management,and the research group implemented performance appraisal.The psychological state,management satisfaction,occurrence of adverse events,and quality of care of nurses in the two groups were compared.Results After management,the psychological state scores of the study group were better than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in management satisfaction between the two groups(P>0.05).A total of 5 cases of adverse events occurred in the study group,which was less than the 13 cases in the con-trol group.The quality of care scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Performance appraisal applied to the management of gas-troenterology nurses can improve nurses'psychological status and the quality of nursing care.
