Application Value Analysis of Hydrogen Peroxide Low Temperature Plasma Sterilization Technology in Disinfection Supply Center
Objective To analyze the application value of hydrogen peroxide low-temperature plasma sterilization technology in medical equipment disinfection and supply center.Methods Ten staff members from the Disinfection Supply Center of Rizhao Central Hospital and seventy sets of instruments in the disinfection supply room from August 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the control group,and used conventional disinfection methods to disinfect the instruments.Ten staff members and seventy sets of equipment from the disinfection supply room from February to July 2023 were selected and were set as the observation group,and used hydrogen peroxide low-temperature plasma steril-ization method to disinfect the equipment.The qualified disinfection rate of two sets of instruments,the disinfection time of instruments,and the satisfaction of staff with disinfection technology were compared.Results The packaging qualification rate and disinfection and sterilization qualification rate of the observation group were both 100.00%(70/70),which was higher than 91.43%(64/77)and 90.00%(63/70)of the control group,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(χ2=4.357,5.414,both P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the observation group had a shorter disinfection time and higher staff satisfaction with disinfection techniques,the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Hydrogen peroxide low-temperature plasma sterilization technology has high application value in disinfection supply centers,which can improve packaging qualification rate and disinfection and sterilization qualification rate,and has short disinfection time and high management satisfaction.
