Exploring the Management Methods and Value of Safe Drug Use in Oncol-ogy
Objective To explore the effectiveness and value of safe medication management methods in oncology.Methods Fifty-eight medical staffs from the oncology department of the People's Hospital of Macheng City were se-lected as study subjects from January to December 2023.From January to June 2023 was the control group,imple-menting the traditional way of medication management.From July to December 2023 was the study group,implement-ing the improved measures of safe medication management.361 prescriptions were taken from both groups for the study.Compared the quality of work and prescription audit pass rate of medical staff in both groups.Results The scores of drug selection rationality and medication execution accuracy in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(both P<0.05).The prescription audit pass rate of the study group was 98.6%(356/361),which was higher than 91.7%(331/361)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=18.767,P<0.05).Conclusion Improved safe medication management measures can effec-tively improve the quality of medical staff's work and increase the prescription audit pass rate.
