Effectiveness of Risk Prevention Nursing Management in the Management of an Infectious Disease Unit
Objective To analyze the application effect of risk prevention nursing management in the management of infectious diseases.Methods A total of 27 nurses in the Department of Infectious Diseases of Macheng People's Hos-pital of Hubei Province were selected as the research objects.They began to implement risk-prevention nursing man-agement in July 2023.The risk identification and treatment ability score,assessment results and management satisfac-tion of nurses in the Department of Infectious Diseases before implementation(January to June 2023)and after imple-mentation(July to December 2023)were compared.Results After the implementation,the risk identification and pro-cessing ability of nurses was improved compared with that before the implementation,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).The scores of nurses'theoretical knowledge and practical operation assessment after implementation were higher than those before implementation,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The management satisfaction of nurses after implementation was 100.00%(27/27),which was higher than 81.48%(22/27)before implementation,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.367,P<0.05).Conclu-sion The application of risk prevention nursing management in the management of infectious diseases department can enrich the theoretical knowledge of nurses,improve their risk identification and processing ability,and help to im-prove management satisfaction.
