Exploration of a Blended Teaching Model for Oral Restoration Based on the Concept of Ideological and Political Education in the Curriculum
Objective To explore the teaching effect of mixed teaching mode of prosthodontics based on curriculum ideological and political ideas.Methods A total of 110 students of grade 2021 and 2022 majoring in stomatology in Suzhou Health Vocational and Technical College from September 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research ob-jects.Among them,fifty-five students of grade 2021(from September 2021 to June 2022)were selected as the control group and taught by traditional teaching methods.The fifty-five students of Grade 2022(September 2022-June 2023)are the observation group,which adopts the mixed teaching mode of prosthodontics based on the ideological and politi-cal philosophy of the course.Two groups of students were observed from three aspects:teaching satisfaction,humanis-tic care ability and critical thinking ability.Results The teaching satisfaction of the observation group was 96.36%(53/55),higher than 81.81%(45/55)of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.583,P<0.05).The scores of humanistic care ability and critical thinking ability of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The blended teaching model of incorporating ideological and political concepts into dental restoration is beneficial for improving teaching satisfaction,enhancing students'humanistic care and critical thinking abilities,and cultivating dental medi-cal talents.
