Evaluation of the Application Effect of Project-based Teaching Method in Pediatrics Course
Objective To analyze the effects of the rational use of project-based teaching methods in teaching pediat-rics courses.Methods One hundred and ten clinical medical students of the grades 2019 and 2020 of Loudi City Cen-tral Hospital from September 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the research subjects.From September 2021 to February 2022,fifty-five students of grade 2019 were selected as the reference group and the traditional teaching method was implemented.From September 2022 to February 2023,fifty-five students of grade 2020 were selected as the observation group,and the project-based teaching method was implemented.Compared the assessment scores and evaluation of teaching methods of the two groups of students.Results The theory score of the observation group was 92.17±2.59 and the practical score was 91.54±2.78,which was higher than 87.12±4.17 and 85.27±3.05 of the refer-ence group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=7.629,11.268,both P<0.05).The evaluation scores of teaching styles of the observation group were higher than those of the reference group,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The effectiveness of implementing a project-based approach in teaching pe-diatrics courses is evident in improving student assessment scores.
