The Application Effect of Case-led Problem-based Learning Teaching Model in Training of Gynecological and Endocrinological Diseases
Objective To explore the effectiveness of using a case-led problem-based learning teaching model in the training of obstetrics and gynecology trainees in gynecologic endocrine disorders. Methods Twenty-two obstetrics and gynecology trainees from Xihu Town Health Hospital,Donggang District,Rizhao City were selected as the study sub-jects from April 2022 to March 2023,and were divided into two groups of eleven cases each according to the random number table method. The reference group implemented the traditional teaching method, and the research group imple-mented the case-led problem-based learning teaching model. The learning achievement, clinical practice evaluation, and teaching satisfaction of the two groups of regulated students were compared. Results The scores of study group's academic performance was 85.71±2.25,and the scores of independent learning ability was 7.38±0.35,higher than 82.43±2.00 and 6.31±0.39 in reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.614,6.772,both P<0.05).The scores of problem-solving ability and teamwork ability of the research group were higher than those of the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in teaching satisfaction between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Applying the case-led problem-based learning teaching model to the teaching of gynecologic endocrine disorders is effective and improves the aca-demic performance of regulated students.
