Study on the Effect of Medical Ultrasonic Cleaning+Spray Cleaning+Manual Lubrication Compound Rust Removal in Disinfection Supply Center
Objective To explore the effect of ultrasonic cleaning+spray cleaning+manual lubrication combined rust removal mode in disinfection supply center. Methods A total of 1000 medical devices recovered by the Supply Department of the Cardiocerebrovascular Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected. Those were divided into two groups according to the time, with 500 pieces in each group. The con-trol group (from January to December 2021) was subjected to the traditional method of immersion with rust remoster in incubator, manual scrubbing and rinsed medical devices. The observation group (from January to December 2022) implemented a combination of ultrasonic cleaning, spray cleaning and manual lubrication. The cleaning qualification rate, rust residual rate, rust recovery rate and loss rate of the two groups of medical devices were compared. Results The complete cleanliness rate of medical devices in the observation group was 95.00% (475/500),which was higher than 90.40% (452/500) in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (x2=7.817,P<0.05). The rust residue rate, rust recovery rate after cleaning and loss rate in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Conclusion The application of ultrasonic superbiological cleaning+spray cleaning+manual lubrication combined rust removal mode for medical devices in disinfection sup-ply center can effectively improve the qualified rate of medical devices cleaning, reduce the rate of rust residue, the rate of rust after cleaning and the rate of loss after cleaning.
