Application of Continuous Quality Improvement Management Model in Outpatient Operating Room Management
Objective To study the value of continuous quality improvement model in the management of outpatient operating room. Methods A total of twenty nurses working in the outpatient operating room of Lingcheng District People's Hospital in Dezhou from April 2021 to April 2022 were selected as the research objects,the routine operat-ing room management mode was implemented from April to October 2021 as the pre-management,and the continuous quality improvement management mode was implemented from November 2021 to April 2022 as the post-management. The quality of outpatient management and the occurrence of errors in the operating room before and after management,and the satisfaction of nursing staff with the management model were compared. Results The scores of management quality before management were lower than those after management,and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Before management,9 case of error events occurred,including 3 case of instrument and equip-ment use errors,4 case of inspection errors,and 2 case of infection control inadequacy. Only 1 case of inadequate in-fection control occurred after management. The satisfaction rate of nursing staff after management was 95.00% (19/20),which was higher than 70.00% (14/20) before management,the difference was statistically significant (x2=5.767,P<0.05). Conclusion Continuous quality improvement in the management of outpatient operating room can improve the quality of nursing management,reduce the probability of error events,and enhance the satisfaction of nursing staff.
