Study on the Measures and Effectiveness of Strengthening Medical Quality Management
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of enhanced medical quality management measures and provide references for improving healthcare quality. Methods Eight medical staff in the Changsha Third Hospital from June 2023 and June 2024 were selected as the research objects. Enhanced medical quality management was implemented from January to June 2024 were selected,involving 112 case records,which were set as the observation group. Rou-tine management was implemented from June to December 2023,involving 121 case records,which were set as the control group. The quality of management,medical record quality,and standardization of treatment processes were analyzed between the two groups. Results The scores of management quality in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The medical record quality score of the observation group were higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically signifi-cant (all P<0.05). The total standardization of diagnosis and treatment process in the observation group was 98.21％ (110/112),which was higher than 92.56％ (112/121) in the control group,and the difference was statistically signifi-cant (x2=4.131,P=0.042). Conclusion Enhancing medical quality management through improved information manage-ment methods,comprehensive quality control,and continuous quality improvement effectively improves the level of medical quality management,medical record quality,and promotes the standardization of treatment processes.
