The Practice Exploration and Effect Evaluation of Total Quality Management Mode in Hospital Management
Objective To explore the application effect of total quality management ( TQM ) model in hospital manage-ment,and to evaluate its impact on work quality,work engagement and management satisfaction. Methods A total of forty staff working in the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University were selected as the research ob-jects. The traditional management mode from January to December 2022 was used as the traditional group,and the TQM-based management mode from January to December 2023 was used as the exploration group. The quality of work,work engagement and management satisfaction of the two graps were compared. Results The work quality score of the inquiry group was higher than that of the traditional group,and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). In terms of work engagement,the vitality score of the inquiry group was 24.44±0.11,dedication was 24.52±0.07,and concentration was 24.28±0.14,which were higher than 22.56±0.12,22.48±0.10,and 22.36±0.20 of the tra-ditional group,and the differences were statistically significant (t=73.041,105.698,49.740,all P<0.05). The manage-ment satisfaction of the inquiry group was 100.00% (40/40),which was higher than 82.50% (33/40) of the traditional group,and the difference was statistically significant (x2=5.636,P<0.05). Conclusion The application of TQM model in hospital management can effectively improve work quality,work engagement and management satisfaction.
