The Impact of Lean Management on the Efficiency of Gastroscopy Work
Objective To analyze the influence of lean management on the efficiency of gastroenteroscopy. Methods A total of twenty-five on-the-job medical staff in Jiawang District People's Hospital of Xuzhou City were selected as the study subjects,who received routine management from June to December 2023 (control group) and lean manage-ment from January to June 2024 (observation group),and the work efficiency of the two groups of medical staff was analyzed. Results The on-time operation rate of the observation group was 71.43% (10/14),higher than 18.18% (2/11) of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (x2=6.997,P<0.05). The time of receiving the observa-tion group,reporting the doctor's order,waiting for equipment decontamination,and completing the painless gastroen-teroscopy in 1 case were all shorter than those in the control group,with statistical significance (all P<0.05). The over-time hours of medical staff and the waiting time for appointment of patients in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (both P<0.05). Conclusion The implemen-tation of lean management in gastroenteroscopy can improve the work efficiency,improve the working condition of medical staff and improve the patient's medical experience.
