Application of Risk Management in Nursing Management of Cardiothoracic Surgery
Objective To analyze the effectiveness of risk management in nursing management of cardiothoracic sur-gery. Methods A total of thirteen on-the-job nurses in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery of Yantai Yantai Mountain Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the research objects. The traditional management mode was implemented from January to June 2023 (control group),and the risk management was implemented from July to December 2023 (observation group). The incidence of nursing risk events,nursing quality score and manage-ment satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results In the observation group,no adverse events oc-curred. In the control group,there were four adverse events,including two nursing complaints and two nursing errors. The nursing quality score of the observation group were higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The total satisfaction rate of the observation group was 100.00％ (13/13),which was higher than 69.23％ (9/13) of the control group. Conclusion In the nursing management of cardiothoracic surgery,the use of risk management can reduce the incidence of nursing risk events,improve the quality of nursing scores,and improve nurses' satisfaction.
