Research on the Application of Seminar Teaching Method Combined with Case Teaching in Medical Genetics Teaching
Objective The value of applying Seminar teaching method in combination with case teaching in medical genetics teaching was analyzed. Methods Seventy-five clinical undergraduates from Yichun College from September 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects,thirty-seven students from grade 2020 from September to December 2022 were selected as the reference group,and thirty-eight students from grade 2021 from September to December 2023 were selected as the research group. The reference group used traditional teaching,while the research group carried out case teaching combined with Seminar teaching mode. The teaching effect of the two groups was com-pared. Results The teaching quality score of the study group was higher than that of the reference group,and the dif-ference was statistically significant (all P<0.05). The scores of students' practical assessment ability,theoretical knowl-edge assessment score,analytical and problem-solving ability in the study group were higher than those in the refer-ence group,and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The teaching satisfaction of students in the study group was 100.00% (38/38),higher than 83.78% (31/37) in the reference group,and the difference was statisti-cally significant (x2=6.698,P<0.05). Conclusion Seminar teaching method combined with case teaching has good teaching effect in medical genetics teaching,which can improve students' theoretical knowledge reserve and practical skills,and improve teaching quality.
