Evaluation of the Effect of Using Flipped Classroom Teaching Mode in the Clinical Teaching of Medical Imaging Diagnosis
Objective To analyze the effect of the use of flipped classroom teaching mode in the clinical teaching of medical imaging diagnosis. Methods Fifty-four students of 2019 grade medical imaging technology major of Changsha Medical College from January to December 2019 were selected as the comparison group, adopting conventional teach-ing. Five-five students of 2020 grade medical imaging technology major of Changsha Medical College from January to December 2020 were selected as the practice group, and the flipped classroom teaching mode was adopted. Compared the assessment scores, clinical work ability, and total satisfaction of teaching methods between the two groups. Results The assessment scores of the practice group were higher than those of the comparison group, and the differences were statistically significant (both P<0.05). The clinical work ability of the practice group were better than those of the com-parison group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Total satisfaction with teaching methods in the practice group was 98.18% (54/55),which was higher than 81.48% (44/54) in the comparison group, and the dif-ference was statistically significant (x2=8.376,P<0.05). Conclusion The implementation of the flipped classroom teaching model improves students' assessment results and clinical work competence, and there is a high level of satis-faction with this teaching method.
