Objective To explore the application effect of the management mode based on the concept of Joint Com-mission International (JCI) in the management of medical devices in disinfection supply room. Methods From January 2022 to February 2024,forty-four staff members who worked in the disinfection supply room of Yancheng First People's Hospital were selected as the research objects. From January 2022 to January 2023,the routine management mode was implemented as the control group,and from February 2023 to February 2024,the management mode with JCI concept as the framework was implemented as the study group. The two groups were the same group of personnel. The assessment results,management quality and management satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The scores of operation skills and professional knowledge in the study group were 96.45±1.07 and 96.57±1.21,which were higher than 95.83±1.24 and 95.84±1.05 in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (t=2.511,3.023,both P<0.05). The management quality scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The management satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The management mode based on JCI concept can improve the assessment results,management quality and management satisfaction.
