Application Effect of Nurse Performance Appraisal Management on Continuous Improvement of Nursing Quality and Nursing Satisfaction in Cardiology Department
Objective The application effect of nurse performance appraisal management on continuous improvement of nursing quality in cardiology department was analyzed. Methods Twenty-seven nursing staff in the Department of Cardiology of Macheng People's Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects. From January to June 2023,routine nursing management was carried out in the nursing management of cardiology depart-ment (before management),and performance appraisal management was carried out from July to December 2023 (after management). The nursing quality,personal literacy of nursing staff and satisfaction were compared before and after management. Results The quality of nursing work after management were higher than that before management,and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The personal literacy of nursing staff after management were better than those before management,and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Before manage-ment,the score of perfection of management system was 21.16±0.13,the score of standardization of work process was 22.18±0.15,the score of fairness of assessment system was 23.14±0.28,and the score of rationality of quality control was 22.89±0.24,were lower than 23.41±0.15,23.68±0.19,24.01±0.22 and 24.16±0.15 after management,and the dif-ferences were statistically significant (t=71.691,39.190,15.452,28.380,all P<0.05). Conclusion The application of performance appraisal management in nursing quality management of cardiology department is conducive to continu-ous improvement of work quality and management satisfaction.
