Study of CAI-PBL-CBT Combined with Flipped Classroom in Neurology Teaching and Learning
Objective To investigate the application of computer aided instruction (CAI)-problem-based learning (PBL)-case-based teaching (CBT) combined with flipped classroom teaching method in neurology clinical teaching. value. Methods Ninety-five students from Class 4-6 of Class 2019 in Clinical Medicine Program,Medical College of Shihezi University from March to May 2023 were selected as the research group,and the teaching mode of CAI-PBL-CBT combined with flipped classroom was adopted;ninety-three students from Classes 7-9 were selected as the con-trol group,and the traditional teaching mode was adopted. Compared the test scores and learning effects of the two groups. Results The usual quiz score of the research group was 90.68±9.70 and the final score was 73.64±10.90,which was higher than 87.15±7.42 and 68.74±13.16 of the control group,and the differences were statistically signifi-cant (t=2.798,2.783,both P<0.05). The study group's learning motivation and classroom atmosphere were better than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (both P<0.05). Conclusion CAI-PBL-CBT combined with flipped classroom pedagogy to improve student achievement and learning outcomes.
