Effect Analysis of Role-Playing Combined with Case Study in Teaching of Hepatobiliary Surgery
Objective To explore the application value of role-playing combined with case study in the teaching of hepatobiliary surgery. Methods A total of eighty-four students who practiced in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nan-jing Medical University (Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital) from August 2023 to May 2024 were selected as the re-search objects and divided into two groups with forty-two students in each group by random number table method. The control group was given the case learning method, and the research group was given the role playing learning method based on the control group. The assessment results, teaching effect and teaching satisfaction of the two groups of students were compared. Results The scores of theoretical knowledge and clinical operation in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (both P<0.05). The teaching ef-fect score of the study group was 95.23±6.23,higher than 79.58±5.94 of the control group, and the difference was sta-tistically significant (t=11.783,P<0.05). The total satisfaction of the students in the study group was 97.62% (41/42),which was higher than 83.33% (35/42) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (x2=4.974,P<0.05). Conclusion Role-playing combined with case study can improve the learning effect, teaching quality and students' initiative in hepatobiliary surgery teaching.
