The Effect Analysis of Formative Evaluation on Clinical Teaching in Orthopedics and Traumatology of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Objective To analyze the role of formative evaluation in clinical teaching of orthopedics and traumatology of traditional Chinese medicine. Methods From March 2022 to March 2024,fifty-two students who received clinical instruction in the Department of Orthopedics,Section Three,Anqiu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were se-lected for the study. According to the envelope random method, the students were divided into two groups on average, with twenty-six in each group. The reference group received routine clinical instruction, and the study group com-bined formative evaluation for instruction. Observe the clinical teaching effect of the two groups. Results Compared with the reference group, the study group had higher scores in theoretical knowledge assessment, clinical practice skills assessment, graduation assessment, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The teaching method satisfaction rate was 100.00% (26/26) in the study group, which was higher 80.77% (21/26) of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant (x2=5.531,P<0.05). Conclusion The integration of formative evaluation in the clinical teaching of orthopedics and traumatology of traditional Chinese medicine can better evaluate the medical students, give them effective guidance, improve the teaching content, and achieve more ideal teaching re-sults.
