The Application Effect of Case Teaching Method Combined with Problem Driven Teaching Method in Immunological Laboratory Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of case teaching and problem-based learning (PBL) in immu-nology test teaching. Methods A total of fifty-five students accpected the course of immunological laboratory in Li-yang People's Hospital from June 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects,including twenty-sixstudents from grade 2022 (observation group) and twenty-nine students from grade 2021 (control group). The observa-tion group adopted the combined teaching mode of case teaching and PBL,while the control group adopted the tradi-tional teaching mode based on teaching. Test scores,critical thinking skills and teaching satisfaction were comparedbetween the two groups. Results The score of closed book test in the observation group was 80.62±9.83,higher than73.60±9.24 of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (t=2.341,P<0.05). The scores of openmind,analytical ability,systematization ability and knowledge maturity of the observation group were higher thanthose of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The total teaching satisfactionof the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The combined application of case teaching method and PBL in the teaching of immunology exami-nation is beneficial to students' better grasp of theoretical knowledge,improve the score of theoretical examination andcritical thinking ability,and the students' teaching satisfaction is higher.
