Application Effect of Shared Admission model in Hospital Bed Management
Objective To evaluate the effect of shared treatment model in realizing efficient utilization of hospital bed resources.Methods The medical indicators of related departments and the situation of cross-department admission in bed management center of our hospital were analyzed and compared before(2019.01-2020.12)and after(2021.01-2022.12)shared admission model.Results The average utilization rate of bed before and after implementation of shared admission model was 77.89%and 84.98%,respectively(P<0.05).The number of bed turnover after implementation was more than before implementation,and the average days of hospitalization,the average days of hospitalization before operation and the average waiting time for admission were lower than before implementation(P<0.05).After the implementation,the inter-department admission rate was 0.58%and the shared ward admission rate was 1.49%,which was higher than before the implementation;the complaints and negative feedback rates of cross-department and shared treatment were 6.71%and 0.08%,respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion The shared admission model of bed management center can improve the cross-department admission rate,increase the number of bed turnover,reduce the waiting time of patients outside the hospital,alleviate the difficulty of hospitalization to a certain extent,and improve patients'medical experience.
