Objective To analyze the changes and main influencing factors of hospitalization cost structure in patients with cerebral ischemia, and to provide suggestions for reasonable cost control. Methods The structural variation degree was used to analyze the structural variation of the average inpatient cost per hospitalization of cerebral ischemia patients in a hospital from 2021 to 2023,and the key factors affecting the change of the average inpatient cost per hospitalization of cerebral ischemia patients in three years were explored through grey correlation. Results From 2021 to 2023,the average inpatient cost per hospitalization of cerebral ischemia patients showed a decreasing trend year by year, with an annual decreasing rate of 9.79%. From 2021 to 2023,the overall structural change of average inpatient cost per hospitalization was 20.63%,and the main items causing the change of average inpatient cost per hospitalization were western medicine cost (36.35%) and diagnosis cost (25.81%). The comprehensive medical service fee is the most correlated with the average hospitalization cost per hospitalization, followed by the traditional Chinese medicine fee, other fees, diagnosis fee, treatment fee, western medicine fee,Chinese herbal medicine, blood and blood products fee, rehabilitation fee and consumables fee. Conclusion With the promotion of a number of policies, the cost structure is inclined to the medical service cost that reflects the value of doctors, which tends to be reasonable. However,it is still necessary to further improve the hospitalization cost structure and effectively reduce the economic burden of patients.
