Abstract
Lu Yao's writing is deeply rooted in his hometown,a rural village in northern Shaanxi Prov-ince.His creations are profoundly influenced by regional culture,with"rural bitter love"being the primary background tone of his works.While narrating stories,he depicts a complete rural image in his mind through his descriptions of the rural landscape,characters,weather,and even the overall narrative structure.The rural space of northern Shaanxi is endowed with new life un-der Lu's pen.
