Abstract
Ge Liang's novels exhibit a distinct relationship between"classical"style and historical func-tion.Over time,Ge Liang began to construct new historical time-spaces in his fiction.His tran-sition from"de-historicization"to"re-historicization,"and his representative works that weave historical logic through motifs of"relics"and"the weak,"reflect an effort to engage in a dialogue between"classical"aesthetics and modern grand narratives.Through this,his novels aim to re-construct cultural continuity.
