甲骨文旧释"蜀"字平议兼论"旬"字构形

摘要
通过梳理商周甲骨文、金文,认为孙诒让最早所释殷墟甲骨文中的"蜀"字存在问题,于省吾、陈梦家、林沄等改释为"䀏(旬)"较为合理."旬"的早期形体应作"(蜀)",后省变成"(犭)"形,应是某种动物的象形字,至于取象于何种动物,则遽难论定.从甲骨文实际用例来看,"(蜀)"多表示方国名(子组除外),"(犭)"表示时间词,可用异体分工来解释这种现象.
Abstract
By sorting out the oracle bone inscriptions and bronze inscriptions in Shang and Zhou dynasties,it was thought that there was a problem with the word"shu(蜀)"in the Yin Xu Oracle bone inscriptions originally interpreted by Sun Yirang,and it was reasonable to change it to"xun[䀏(旬)]"by Yu Xingwu,Chen Mengjia and Lin Yun.The early form of the"xun(旬)"should be"(蜀)",and later omitted into the shape"(犭)",which should be a pictographic character of some animal,as to which animal to take the image of,it is difficult to decide.From the actual use case of oracle,"(蜀)"mostly represents the name of the country(except for Zi groups),"()"represents the time word,which can be explained by heterotopic division of labor.
