Objective To explore the clinical effect of"three point fixation"with"8-figure"suture combined with microporous plate fixation in the treatment of posterior cruciate ligament(PCL)tibial avulsion fracture under arthroscope. Methods A total of 25 cases with PCL tibial avulsion fracture(Meyers-McKeeverⅢ type, the diameter of bone block>10 mm)from January 2018 to January 2022 were enrolled and retro-spectively analyzed. The"three point fixation"technique with"8-figure"suture combined with microporous steel plate fixation was performed.Perioperative indicators were recorded, and the knee flexion and extension range of motion, visual analogue scale(VAS)of pain during activity,IKDC score and Lysholm score were compared between the preoperation and the last follow-up.Results All operations succeed without postoperative wound infection and neurovascular injury. The average operation time was(77.44±8.66)minutes,the intraoperative blood loss was(37.84±5.58)mL,the postoperative drainage volume was(72.68±7.61)mL,and the hospitaliza-tion time was(8.00±1.89)days.All patients were followed up for(20.34±3.57)months averagely(ranged 15 to 25 months). All fractures healed during 60 to 90 days with an average of(74.96±6.53)days after the operation. The X-ray showed that bone blocks healed without implants loosening 3 and 6 months after the operation.Com-pared with preoperation, the knee flexion and extension range of motion was higher,VAS was lower, and IKDC score and Lysholm score was higher at the last follow-up,and all differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The"three point fixation"technique with"8-figure"suture combined with microporous plate fixation can achieve an ideal effect with mini-trauma,fast recovery for PCL tibial avulsion fracture(the diameter of bone block>10 mm)under arthroscope, and it is worthy of popularization.
