Observation on the efficacy of esomeprazole combined with high-dose amoxicillin the treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection
Objective To observe the clinical effect of esomeprazole combined with high-dose amoxicillin for patients with Helicobacter pylori infection. Methods 60 patients with Helicobacter pylori infection were studied and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with esomeprazole and high-dose amoxicillin, and the control group was treated with conventional quadruple therapy. The eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori infection, effectiveness of treatment, satisfaction with treatment, and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori infection in the observation group was 96.67%(29/30),which was higher than 80.00%(24/30)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment of 96.67%(29/30)in the observation group was higher than 80.00%(24/30)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment satisfaction in the observation group was 96.67%(29/30),which was higher than 80.00%(24/30)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 10.00%(3/30),which had no statistically significant difference compared to 20.00%(6/30)in the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of esomeprazole combined with high-dose amoxicillin for patients with Helicobacter pylori infection has a significant effect on improving the eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori, promoting patient recovery, and improving patient prognosis. Moreover, the treatment safety is high, and it is recommended for reference.
