Observation on the efficacy of sequential treatment of secretory otitis media with traditional Chinese medicine nasal disease differentiation
Objective To investigate and analyze the efficacy of sequential treatment of secretory otitis media with traditional Chinese medicine nasal disease differentiation. Methods A total of 102 patients with secretory otitis media were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random numerical table, with 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine treatment, and the observation group was treated with sequential treatment based on traditional Chinese medicine nasal disease differentiation. Both groups were compared in terms of therapeutic effect, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score, serum procalcitonin(PCT),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),cytokines[interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-10(IL-10),interleukin-12(IL-2),interferon-γ(IFN-γ)],T-lymphocyte subsets(CD3+,CD4+ and CD8+)levels before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 94.12%,which was higher than that of 72.55%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of ear distention and otalgia in the observation group were(0.58±0.15)and(0.42±0.10)points,which were lower than those of(0.91±0.22)and(0.64±0.20)points in the control group, and the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the serum PCT and hs-CRP levels in the observation group were(1.20±0.20)μg/L and(2.08±0.40)mg/L,which were lower than those of(2.45±0.33)μg/L and(3.94±0.50)mg/L in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the serum levels of IL-4,IL-10,IL-2 and IFN-γ in the observation group were(15.89±4.12),(11.09±4.43),(35.45±6.35)and(43.82±6.84)ng/ml,which were lower than those of(26.33±5.20),(15.02±5.62),(40.77±6.12)and(49.96±7.02)ng/ml in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,CD3+ of(73.55±16.14)%and CD4+ of(49.88±7.09)%in the observation group were higher than those of(64.75±11.69)%and(41.39±6.38)%in the control group;CD8+ of(34.57±5.00)%in the observation group was lower than that of(42.62±6.99)%in the control group;the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Sequential treatment based on traditional Chinese medicine nasal disease differentiation has significant effect for patients with secretory otitis media, and can significantly improve the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score, serum PCT,hs-CRP,cytokines and T-lymphocyte subsets, which is worth promoting and applying.
