Research on law of acupoint selection of moxibustion for the prevention and treatment of urinary incontinence based on data mining technology
Objective To explore the law of acupoint selection and compatibility of moxibustion in the treatment of urinary incontinence(UI)by using data mining.Methods The literature on moxibustion treatment for urinary incontinence were retrieved via computer from Pumbed,Web of Science,Embase,CNKI,Wan Fang Data,CBM and VIP Chinese science and technology periodical database,and the retrieval time range was from the establishment of the database to December 31,2022.The literatures were collected to build up a database,and the mathematical statistics and data mining techniques were applied to explore the law of acupoint selection and compatibility of moxibustion in the treatment of urinary incontinence.Results A total of 175 articles were included,involving 75 acupoints with a total frequency of 676 times.The frequency of use ranks the top three were Guanyuan,Qihai and Zhongji.The clinical point selection of moxibustion for prevention and treatment of urinary incontinence was mainly concentrated on either Ren meridian and foot Taiyang bladder meridian,the frequency was 355 times and 170 times,accounting for 52.51%and 25.15%of the total frequency respectively.The main acupoints outside the meridian are Jiaji acupoints.Moxibustion method preferred abdominal acupoints for urinary incontinence,accounting for 55.33%of the total frequency.Moxibustion methods were mainly warming moxibustion apparatus,the frequency was 50 times,accounting for 28.57%of the total frequency,followed by hanging moxibustion and warm moxibustion.The commonly used acupoints for moxibustion prevention and treatment of urinary incontinence were Guanyuan-Qihai,Guanyuan-Zhongji.Moxibustion method for urinary incontinence selection points could be divided into four categories:the first category was Guanyuan,Qihai,Zhongji,Shenque,the second category was Shenshu,bladder Shu,the third category was Sanyinjiao,Zusanli,and the fourth category was Ciliao and Zhongliao.Conclusion Data mining technology can effectively explore the common acupoints and the law of acupoint selection and compatibility of moxibustion in the treatment of urinary incontinence.Compatible acupoints have the characteristics of acupoint selection along meridians and local acupoint selection,which can provide a reliable basis for clinical nurses to use moxibustion to prevent and treat urinary incontinence.
