Effect of polyene phosphatidylcholine combined with diammonium glycyrrhizinate on elderly patients with fatty liver and its influence on inflammatory factors
Objective To study the effect of polyene phosphatidylcholine combined with diammonium glycyrrhizinate on elderly patients with fatty liver and its influence on inflammatory factors. Methods The clinical data of 82 elderly patients with fatty liver were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into a control group(41 cases)and observation group(41 cases)according to different medication schemes. The control group was treated with polyene phosphatidylcholine, and the observation group was treated with polyene phosphatidylcholine and diammonium glycyrrhizinate. The clinical efficacy, lipid function indexes[total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)]and inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6)],liver function indicators[aspartate transaminase(AST),alanine aminotrasferase(ALT)]before and after treatment. Results After treatment,TC,TG and LDL-C were decreased and HDL-C was increased in both groups compared with those before treatment;and TC of(4.30±0.65)mmol/L,TG of(1.38±0.25)mmol/L and LDL-C of(2.13±0.38)mmol/L in the observation group were lower than those of(5.09±0.78),(1.74±0.31)and(2.61±0.46)mmol/L in the control group;HDL-C of(1.48±0.18)mmol/L was higher than that of(1.24±0.11)mmol/L in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,TNF-α and IL-6 in both groups were decreased compared with those before treatment, and TNF-α and IL-6 in the observation group[(21.44±4.23)ng/L and(10.36±2.38)ng/L]were lower than those in the control group[(29.79±3.34)and(18.02±2.69)ng/L](P<0.05).After treatment,ALT and AST in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and ALT of(42.56±6.51)U/L and AST of(38.86±4.69)U/L in the observation group were lower than those of(63.91±7.89)and(58.02±5.92)U/L in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of 95.12%in the observation group was higher than that of 80.49%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Polyene phosphatidylcholine combined with diammonium glycyrrhizinate is effective in the treatment of senile fatty liver, which can synergistically improve lipid metabolism and liver function, reduce inflammatory reaction, help repair damaged liver tissue, and promote disease prognosis.
