Observation on the curative effect of free flap transplantation of superficial palmar branch of radial artery of the wrist transverse striation in repairing finger soft tissue defect
Objective To investigate the curative effect of free flap transplantation of superficial palmar branch of radial artery of the wrist transverse striation in repairing finger soft tissue defect. Methods 34 patients with finger soft tissue defects were divided into an observation group and a control group with 1∶1 ratio, with 17 cases in each group. The control group was treated with local pedicled transfer flap repair, and the observation group was treated with free flap transplantation of superficial palmar branch of radial artery of the wrist transverse striation. Both groups were compared in terms of postoperative complications, operation time, wound healing time, intraoperative blood loss, flap survival rate, excellent and good rate of appearance recovery of finger flap, excellent and good rate of blood supply recovery, and excellent and good rate of superficial sensation recovery, satisfaction score, and mental health score. Results The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, but there was no difference(P>0.05).The operation time of(104.65±10.28)min in the observation group was longer than(92.21±10.18)min in the control group, and the wound healing time of(19.35±2.22)d was shorter than(24.18±2.81)d in the control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in intraoperative blood loss between the two groups(P>0.05).The flap survival rate of 100.00%in the observation group was higher than 64.71%in the control group(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of appearance recovery of finger flap in the observation group(94.12%)was higher than the control group(58.82%)(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of blood supply recovery in the observation group(94.12%)was better than the control group(58.82%)(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of superficial sensation recovery in the observation group(94.12%)was higher than the control group(58.82%)(P<0.05).The satisfaction score of(95.32±2.26)points and mental health score of(23.32±5.26)points in the observation group were better than(82.33±2.18)and(49.66±5.20)points in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The free flap transplantation of the superficial palmar branch of the radial artery of the wrist transverse striation is effective in repairing the soft tissue defect of the finger. It can achieve satisfactory results. The recovery time of the patient's prognosis is short and the prognosis is significant. It is recommended for clinical promotion.
